Hawaii Vacation Destinations
The Hawaiian Islands are composed of six main islands: Hawaii, Oahu, Maui, Kauai, Molokai, and Lanai. These are the most popular vacation destinations, but there are literally dozens of smaller islands that help make up the island chain. Whether you wish to visit popular tourist attractions or you want to explore the untamed beauty of the forests of smaller islands, Hawaii certainly has an attraction for you.
Oahu, Hawaii
Oahu is one of the most popular islands in the Hawaiian Island chain. Some of the most visited attractions in the area are located on this island. With the North Shore and Waikiki beaches you can relax in the sun and swim in crystal clear waters. You could also take time to visit Pearl Harbor, learning the significance of this historic site and paying your respects to all that died there.
Kailua, Oahu, Hawaii
While Kailua is only a fifteen minute drive from the capital city of Honolulu, many visitors to the island never travel to this peaceful community. Kailua is a beach community, and the beach park located here is often at the top of the "Best Beaches" lists. A popular option when staying in Kailua is to rent one of the many luxurious beach front homes.
Honolulu, Hawaii
The capital city of Hawaii, Honolulu is also the most visited city. The hub of activity and tourism, this city has nearly everything you could ask for. World class accommodations, sandy beaches, and rugged forest areas are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Honolulu. Tourist activities abound and many tours are available in the city.

From your home you can easily travel to lush rainforests, relaxing beaches, or a dozen area attractions. Staying in Haiku allows you to enjoy the natural side of Hawaii without tourists or gimmicks.
Waikiki, Hawaii
Waikiki Beach is the most popular attraction associated with this part of Hawaii. Waikiki is actually it's own community located adjacent to Honolulu, a local paradise in the tourism that has descended on the town in the past few decades.
